This whole deal had gotten terribly out of hand. For one, she didn't much care for the attitude of Mr. 'I'll be asking questions but wont share my name' and the other two? Well she didn't really like them a whole lot either. She tilted her head and stared a moment at the grey one as he shared his own calling. Ryker. It was indeed a strong name, she would give him that much. Maybe she shouldn't go around underestimating others. But then again, overestimating someone based on something so little as their name would be it's own kind of foolish. It was much the same as how others responded to her terribly long name. It might sound nice and elegant, but she sure as heck wasn't nice herself. And if that big moron dared judge her for it, why she just might loose her cool for real this time. And the one who she directed her fury at wasn't going to be the color changer.
The sound of someone coming met her ears only a second before she heard the voiced greeting. What the heck language was that? Had she heard it before? Her memory was one of her least reliable pieces of her mind, so she doubted she would know. Whatever it was this wolf said, she guessed it to be something like, 'hello'. Whatever. It didn't matter because that one was hardly more than a pup in Aeg's eyes. How old? Maybe a year, or a tad more? Probably. Really this newcomer showed no signs of being very interesting just now, so she turned away without bothering to say hi or reintroduce herself. She glanced over the little gathering again, noting the somewhat disinterested look on Ryker's face. Was he getting as bored of these others as she? No, no one ever felt quite the way she did. But what did one expect when one's mind was broken?
He flicked a striped ear in the direction of the color changer as he greeted the foreign wolf. Apparently he was called Neo. Not a bad calling for him, either. Short, simple, and it made sense for him too. She was probably the only wolf she knew of that really appreciated the concept of naming. Names had to fit, and sometimes she wasn't sure hers did. Well, okay, it made a lot of sense for her. It meant both hero and demon. Like the two sides must be battling in her. Perhaps that was what caused her madness, but she couldn't be sure, nor did she want to be. Her current concern was with how this group was growing and how she really didn't care too much for being around a bunch of other wolves. And definitely not when they were all on edge. She could feel it in the air, and it only made her crazy that much harder to control. If her tendency to speak in third person wasn't a dead give away to how her mind wasn't right, then when she finally lost it here, that might would show them for sure.
She blinked and whirled as she realized the dark wolf with that aggrivating attitude had actually come closer. Was he broken in his head? Maybe. It was quite likely, and she was intreged by the idea of finding out what exactly was eating at him. He was grinning at her like some sort of demon was inside him, moving his lips like he was a crazy little puppet. She actually giggled at the thought, a sort of laugh that might make others look at her and wonder what was wrong with the oddly colored female. She sobered quickly and pinned her ears at him, giving a disgusted look. Who was he to judge names? He was the one being a brat and waiting forever and a year to give his own. Oh, yes, very fancy. And you think what? That Aeg cares? Because she is afraid you are quite wrong there. Personally, she wouldn't even care if she had no name at all. And her tone should have been enough to get that point across loud and clear. But she couldn't be sure about this guy. Something was so off about him. It made her want to poke and prod at him until he gave in and said what the heck had a grip on his mind. She might radiate madness and something else, but he gave the feeling of absolute darkness. Some sort of evil? Maybe. He did seem quite harsh for a wolf who might have any feelings besides anger or... Well, whatever he felt she was quite sure it was not happiness nor love. She didn't feel that one, so he probably didn't either.
It occurred to her that with his large size and obvious advantage over the others, she may be the only potential match for him in a fight. She had her bite to protect her. Just one wrong move and he could be a goner. What did the others have? She couldn't really rule them out just now. But of course, this had not escalated to a fighting situation, and she didn't feel like making an enemy today. She watched with a now somewhat impassive look as he gave his own name. About time, too. It took him long enough, and she couldn't help but feel amused at how properly his name fit him. A dark name for a wolf with a darkness in him. She would have commented on it, but she wasn't a total moron. She didn't need to give anyone a big reason to get mad right now. That would be the stupid thing to do and she didn't feel like being dumb right now. Of course if she did eventually, maybe she could just call him one of his names and they could get right to the fighting. Heck, that made her give a grin of her own, and she was pretty sure hers looked a whole lot crazier than his had.
Her head whipped around in a secon as she heard someone new speaking. Instead of keeping it in, she openly cried, Heck, how many wolves are going to come here?! They're everywhere... The last bit was mumbled under her breath, but she was pretty sure someone must have caught it. And that was just what she needed. Her eyes caught sight of this new comer to the party in seconds. He was tall, and she had to admit rather well muscled. But not impressive either. She herself wasn't exactly a total wuss. Her body was in good shape, and she refused to fear anyone based on looks. Or, anything at all, really. What could she say about it, though? She was crazy! Aeg shook her head slightly and refocused her attention on the wolf. He had a reddish pelt, sort of like the young females. And... he was speaking, giving his name, but she wasn't focused on that at all. She just stared at him for a minute, her body going to a neutral position and she even forgot she was still a bit mad at Hellfire.
Finally she opened her maw, and the first thing to come out was not a greeting, nor introduction, Where the heck is your eye? The darkness of the patch around it should have contrasted but... Seconds ticked by as she stared, and finally it clicked. His other eye was very dark. The one with the patch must have blended... But it was just so interesting to look at. Maybe she would get her but kicked for staring, but you can't blame the mad for not having right minds, now can you? Suddenly she burst from her trance like state and added with a venomous tone that said she didn't really care at all what he thought, And what would make you think anyone cares your an alpha? Aeg does not like alphas at all. They think she should respect them, but why? Aeg sees no reason to give respect to one she doesn't know or care about. It must be more and more apparent that she didn't own a filter for her thoughts. But that was just how she felt, and that was what she meant. Alphas so far as she knew them were arrogant fools who hid behind their titles and didn't bother backing it up. Like her messed up brain would bother caring what position he had! To her, he ranked as stranger, and would have no class at all until she decided if he was to be hated.

-- Ryker Strong Power -- »» Statically Ryker sat on the rocky terrain, surveying the comical events that unraveled before him. The sun began to retreat from its resting position in the late afternoon sky, hovering above the shadowed tree line. The dancing silhouettes addressed the need for dinner. It was getting late and Ryker acknowledged that he still needed to find a suitable meal before the day was over. Ryker looked around the group of wolves and secretly wondered what each of their stories was. Did they choose loner ship by choice, or were they forced? Story time was not necessary but it did call for some curiosity from Ryker. The conversations and introductions all seemed a blur to Ryker, as he sat in a motionless trance. He would sputter a few words out every now and again, but realistically he was bored with the situation. He let out a sigh and continued to remain silent as even more wolves approached. Bonjour? Can you use it in a sentence? Can I get a definition? Someone please spell this word and give a definition!? The female was young, but seemed to hold a level head about her. But then again, all of these wolves held some sort of confidence. We had one who acted like some secret agent, another who was confident he was getting laid, another who is overly opinionated – and then these two. Oh so you’re an alpha? You’re point.
»» Ryker’s sarcastic nature was beginning to take over his thoughts as his stomach began to grow antsy. Whenever this male got hungry, he got angry. And when he got angry…okay, so he’s nothing like the Hulk. But still it’s never a pretty picture to stand between a man and his food. He licked his lips at the thought of food, and the mentioning yet again of a party. If this was a party I would have to say that the coordinator failed. “Some party this turned out to be,” He mumbled ever so slightly under his breath. He heard Aeg’s remark, and nodded his head in agreement. The crazy wolf was right; there were way too many gathering wolves in this area. If outsiders didn’t know any better they would probably think a pack meeting was being held. Ryker silently thanked the wolf gods for intervening and allowing his prey to escape. If he had a successful hunt it would have been impossible for him to enjoy his meal in peace. There were currently five wolves in his presence, and he was positive that they could have taken his prize with ease. Sure, he might look like a fool - but he hadn’t feed these wolves. And honestly, he could accept his humiliating hunt with ease. Ryker had never learned to share as a pup, and he had no interest of learning as an adult.
»» He stared at the alpha for a moment, questioned his title as alpha. Was he really an alpha, or was it just a ploy to gain respect from the group of loners? He shrugged his disbelief away, giving him the benefit of doubt. “Are you here to recruit us?” Ryker questioned the alpha. He had no interest to join a pack, and assumed the others would agree. After all, they were loners for a reason. Miss loopy bin over here seemed to be displeased with his authority, and Mr. don’t call me by name appeared too arrogant and cocky to join a pack. Ryker could see him as a leader, maybe. But a follower was not in his cards. The other wolves, well they were wild cards. Ryker could see them in a pack, but maybe not by choice or having much loyalty. But hey, who is Ryker to judge. He hates the pack life. Alpha’s strut around like they own the place, getting others to do their dirty work. He wondered what this Pyro character was like? And what was he doing off of his pack lands? He always thought the alpha stayed within his boarders, to patrol and do whatever it was that alpha did in their spare time. Really though, leadership couldn’t be all that amusing could it? Wrecking havoc and breaking rules seemed so much better.
ooc;; Sorry, it's not that great of a post /: Ryker is being all bleh to me right now. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
