[atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s413/SilentCallings/CleopatraTableMiddle.png]Trotting beside her companion, Cleopatra nudged Jarrett gently with her muzzle, watching the previously mundane look on his pretty face turn into a bright smile. The female wagged her tassel, shaking her hips as she hummed a spicy tune, and belted out in song, singing, "~And I'm on tonight, you know my hips don't lie, and I'm starting to feel it's right. The attraction, the tension, don't you see baby, this is perfection~" twirling around in a circle in front of Jarrett, nipping at his cheeks and ears. As the fae continued her song, the duo exited the forest and entered a lush meadow, a myriad of wildlife bustling about. Padding forward, the cobalt-pelted female observed a minuscule butterfly flutter around, the membrane of it's wings straining against the constant breeze, it's colors of scarlet and azure swirling in nearly perfect circles. Cleopatra saw from her peripheral vision that her homosexual friend was approaching a skittish fawn, a dainty creature that was prancing around in circles. The two animals touched noses, before the youngling bounded back to it's mother, a dusky doe, and wandered back to their herd. "You have such a way with prey, Pretty Boy. You're not supposed to play with your food." she teased before the areas beneath the aureate markings that were scattered upon her pelate smoothened over, and she relaxed. Cleo laid on to the expanse of her back, gazing up at the sky with ochroid optics, viewing nature's cerulean canvas, with the scattered flecks of alabaster forming clouds. The lupess let out a giggle of content before springing up off of the honeyed plot of land, and dancing around the meadow, her elegant steps never faltering even one bit. "~Roxanne, you don't have to sell your body to the night~" the femme chorused, barking at the copper-cinnamon coat to continue the duet she was attempting. The delicate brute hesitated, but after looking around to make sure no other lupes were around, he grinned and chimed, "~His eyes upon your face, his hand upon your hand, his lips caress your skin, it's more than I can stand~" before both wolves were vocalizing at once, pitches melded together as one. "Roxanne.../Why does my heart cry?" they harmonized before their words died down, and Cleopatra rolled on the floor in a bout of laughs, smiling when her friend chuckled along with her.
Jarrett rose from the thriving land and loped over to the wiggling she-wolf and waved his striped-tail in the air, placing a finely-boned paw on her chest in a playful manner. "Let's go get a snack, I'm in the mood for some fish." the lupine said, leading the fair maiden to a crystalline river where colorful underwater life thrived voluminously. Stepping into the therapeutical liquid, the brute's paws were submerged until the bottom of his ankles. His orbs, a blend of amethyst-purple, aquamarine-blue, emerald-green, and flecks of pure gold, stared down at a rather obese bass that swam in lop-sided manner. Pouncing on the unsuspecting prey with his limbs, the lanky lupe chased after the creature as it struggled to escape his mental trap. His jaws snapped down and snared the fish in one quick, sudden motion, and he tossed it the bank, where Cleo licked her lips in anticipation for a hearty meal. Focusing his attention back on the river, Jarrett sprung after the next target, a crimson snapper, it's fins flopping desperately as the wolf twisted his svelte body to fling the prey towards the shore, once again tempting his best friend, who used all of her self-discipline to not consume the two fish in one standing. Nudging the larger of the two animals towards Cleopatra, Jarrett began tearing at the flesh of the bass, eating his meal quite happily. "Did you give me the bigger one 'cause you think I'm fat?" the damsel asked, a mischievous glint in her visors. "No, it's just that females should eat fish, it's a good source of protein for when they decide to have pups, in the future." he mumbled, watching the fae roll her pools and dig into her portion, gobbling up almost everything that was laid out in front of her, leaving only the bones, which she proceeded to gnaw on. Her onyx hide gleamed in the sunlight as she licked at it constantly, grooming down any stray follicles and what-not, as she focused special attention on her markings, so they could be as appealing as possible, for they were one of her best features. A yawn escaped the maiden's maw, and she let out a grumble in satisfaction, gladly resting on her side with a full belly. She felt Jarrett prance over next to her, and cuddle into her back, his head resting atop her rib cage, and they shared each other's space in peace.
After the duo's short nap, the two awoke around the afternoon and stretched their dazed structures. Both specimens of Canis Lupus Lupus then chose to travel along the side of the river, and see where it would take them in their adventure to explore this exquisite world. Even though they were already part of a pack, the two canines were curious about their surrounding and relished in the fact that their group allowed them to explore past the territory borders. Surely, there would be conflict along the way, such as bears, porcupines, skunks, and what-not, but both Cleopatra and Jarrett were thrilled to be able to experience such things that they had never been exposed to before, when they were younger. Along the way, the fae constantly bumped her companion into the river, in an attempt to douse out her boredom, and yelped every time he retaliated with a sharp nip to her lissome scruff. The avians chirped their songs, and they came in a variety of hues as well, bringing a range of the orchestra into play. "~You better hold more than your skirt miss, please. I'm the queen of the Nile, so just bow down to me~" Cleopatra cantillated, as she swung her body to the left and then to the right, bopping her head in rhythm. Jarrett merely grinned and went along with her cute charade, and the two lupes danced their way across the land, voices yipping and barking happily.

Large paws hit the ground surprisingly softly, landing with precision as the wolf stalked forward, moving towards an unknown destination. It was unknown simply because of the fact that he was moving with no direction, simply walking and hoping to end up somewhere. His mind wandered freely, not really paying attention to the dense forest that surrounded him. He didn't have to though. Not once had the brutes large paws caught on a root or some other unfortunate thing that might cause him to stumble. The forest was easy to navigate if one knew how, and since he had been spending most of his days isolated from other lupines he had been given the chance to get to know the forest well. The canopy of branches above made the ground a shadowy world that easily hid the wolf with his dark pelt so that it was as if he was just another shadow, only moving.
Unfortunately he wasn't quiet enough. His lack of concentration caused him to tread over a twig, which snapped loudly in the silence and startled a nearby deer. So much for breakfast. He narrowed pale grey eyes and watched as the prey animal zipped off out of range. He hadn't wanted to eat that badly until now, when his opportunity was lost. Well, that was unfortunate. No, unfortunate was when he made the mistake of pissing off a wolf he shouldn't, this was him being too lazy or simply not hungry enough to go catch his food. Fine then. He would have to keep moving and if he really did want to eat, actually try. Simple enough, one would think. Perhaps it was the fact that his mind was so very distant lately that made him not care about the deer. Oh well, he was fine for now at least.
Lerato came to a halt suddenly, ears moving like radar dishes, trying to catch the sound he thought he just heard. Yes, it was nearly inaudible because he must be rather far away, but he was quite sure now that he was hearing the voices of others in the distance. While this was all well and good and made him feel a bit excited and slightly more happy, those feelings were smothered as he began to ponder whether or not he should go say hello. He always found these situations difficult. Mostly it was the blind and panicky fear of them not liking him, perhaps becoming fearful and aggressive because they thought he was dangerous. It tended to happen to him with more frequency than he would have liked. Others usually assumed the guy whos face was all torn up wasn't very good and probably did something bad to deserve it. Riight, cause mouthing off was such a terrible offence where he came from. Bull crap. He exhaled slowly, trying to loosen up. He would go to see who these strangers were, but only because wandering without company tended to get very lonely.
It didn't take long before his ears picked up more speech from the strange wolves, but he couldn't hear their exact words at this point. It sounded like maybe they were singing at one point. How odd... But hey, who was he to judge? He could barely talk most of the time. Though practice seemed to do him good, he didn't like what it took to get practice. Actual conversation. Which meant he had to find someone to talk to, and risk going through all the trouble meeting someone new meant for him. Lerato wasn't antisocial, just nervous about not being accepted by others. He wanted to be liked most of the time, but apparently most others didn't like him. No, that was what they said, but in reality they didn't trust his appearance and therefore judged him by it. Stupidity at its worst.
He was beginning to wonder if they had walked out of range of his hearing now. Grey eyes swept over the males surroundings as he searched for whoever it could be. Unfortunately he knew that finding someone when you don't know what they look like can be incredibly difficult. He imagined if someone were to look for him in the forest it would be rather hard because he blended in so well. So, were the other wolves blending in, or had he gone in the wrong direction? That would be highly irksome. He growled a deep, threatening sort of growl as he puzzled over what to do now. But he stopped in the midst of this and turned around as he began to hear the voices again. This time they seemed to be coming closer. Apparently he had in fact passed them, but now the strangers, two by the sound of their voices, were headed right for him.
His three somewhat fluffy tails began to wag back and forth as he couldn't help being sort of happy that he finally had the chance to meet someone new. Even if it was unnerving for him, he still liked to meet others. There was always the chance they could turn out to be friends, and he thrived on that hope. Lerato stalked forward quietly, emerging from the cover of the trees to see the banks of a river. He had been so caught up in his expedition to find the strangers he hadn't really payed attention to the sound of the water rushing past. He didn't like water a ton though. Especially if there were too many large rocks in it, because he tended to get his antlers wedged in them. An irritating but sometimes amusing occurrance he was sure.
Lerato sat down and decided to wait for the other wolves to come to him rather than approaching them. It never seemed to work out when he was the one who walked up to others. Instead he would sit here patiently. He shook his antler adorned crown and watched as the strangers came into view. One he was quite sure was a female. Her pelt was an inky black, with marking wrapping around her legs like vines clinging on for dear life. Even from a distance he could see the bright golden color of her eyes. She seemed to be quite the interesting wolf. And despite the thin sort of build her companion had, Ler was quite sure it was a male. His only interesting markings seemed to be a few stripes along him tail and hindquarters. Lerato had stripes as well, but they were more of a zebra pattern and were confined to his legs.
The brute couldn't be sure, but he thought the two wolves had been singing moments ago. Well, that was different. He didn't normally hear others randomly bursting into song. It just wasn't something he witnessed normally. But, maybe if he could sing he would, Lerato couldn't be sure at this point, and would probably never be able to try. What was the point of trying something he wasn't capable of? Well, that was a sad thought. It was the reason he didn't like to think about those things. Too much of a downer. But, enough of this navel-gazing, the other wolves were getting closer and he wanted to try and keep his focus on them.

[atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s413/SilentCallings/CleopatraTableMiddle.png]Cleopatra yawned as her limbs carried her across the lands, verdant strands of grass tickling her ankles occasionally as the wind billowed them in the direction of her body, and she giggled quietly, relishing in the refreshing breeze, and heck, she didn't even know what season it was currently, but that didn't matter, for she and Jarrett had been traveling so long in their lives that they lost count of the days, and chose to not fret over such trivial facts, and enjoy their time together, as best friends should. They had many memories together, closer than companions, and if someone were to ask the femme, she wouldn't refer to the brute as her friend, no, she would introduce him as her brother, for that was what he was to her, despite the fact that they looked completely different.
Lobes perked when a sound echoed through the usually silent air, but it was so faint that the femme thought she had imagined it, and her head swiveled to the right and left before she felt Rhett's tassel whack her flank, his prism-like optics glancing over to portray a questioning look hidden within their rainbow-like mirrors, and she brushed it off, chirping cheerfully, "Do not fret, my dear, I just thought I heard a noise coming from the forest~ Probably was just a raccoon, or something." She flashed him a sunny smile, pointed teeth glinting in his direction, their glossy appearance granted by the sun's aureate rays. A shiver ran up her spine, for she hated the feeling of being watched by someone unknown, but she buried the fear, for she loathed acting like a weak, stereotypical female, waiting for some dashing brute to rescue her, as if. Males sourced their pride on being the stronger of the pair, so she chose to be independent, to show them that she could fight an attacker just as well as they could.
"Cleo. Cleo. Cleo." Jarrett repeated the female's name to try and get her attention, but she seemed to be staring off into space, so he pouted and backed up a few steps before rutting into her shoulder, his petite body not doing much other than jolting her back into the present. "Hm?" she asked, shaking her head to rid the dazed look from her face, and Rhett merely nipped her ears happily, teasing tones covering his words as he said, "Nothing, but try to stay out of lala land, you could have stepped in a pot hole, and then your loyal hero would have had to pull you out." before ducking as she swatted at his head with a clawed paw, accompanied by a slicing accent flashing through the atmosphere. "Pretty Boy, the only hero I need is myself." she huffed, obsidian follicles wavering as she puffed out her coat, until a bout of laughter left her maw, noticing that the action made her look more like a porcupine than anything else. Grooming her hide, she left a close eye on her companion, for he was known to wander off during her rest stops, his innocent, child-like mind leading him to go investigate intriguing plants and what-not, to sate his never ending amazement of nature's beauties.
Feminine structure was brought a few feet deeper into the woods, under the watchful gaze of his best friend, Cleopatra, and Rhett paused when a shadow loomed in the corner of his eye, to which he slinked a bit closer, until the light was directed in the direction of the silhouette, revealing a wolf, a male wolf. The fact that the brute was immensely scarred didn't register at all in the boy's mind, only that it was a member of the same gender, and thus meant that it could be dangerous, and he skid to a stop, ears flattening across his skull, tail hiding in between his legs as he backed up slowly, body crouched low against the ground, a meek posture, voids averting to the ground so the other wouldn't be threatened by him, not that he even seemed to be so. His russet hairs mingled with the earth, kaleidoscope irises darkening as his heart thumped against his rib cage, mind screaming at him to run, but his quivering limbs did nothing to help.
When the brute scampered out of her sight, the lupess rolled her golden optics and stood up, beginning to trot at a leisurely pace until she saw his low figure, as if something were scaring him, and protective instincts flared through her conscience, as she rounded to stand in front of him to shield his body with her own, and looked up to see who was frightening the boy. She examined the lupine, ghostly pools the first thing that caught her attention, followed by the ochre pelt with striping down his legs. He didn't seem that threatening at all to her, despite his scarring, so the maiden grinned brightly and bounded up to him, friendly aura emitting from her structure as she said, "Why hello there, good sir~ My name is Cleopatra, and that is Jarrett. Do not mind him, he is not trying to be disrespectful, he just has a fear of the male gender. It's a long story, but any who, nice to meet you."
Not wanting to leave any tension hanging in the air, the lady cooed to the young canine behind her, "Rhett, be a dear and go get a snack for this fellow." Thus, her concocted plan was set into motion as the lupe nodded silently and padded off towards wherever he decided to hunt down some prey, and the dame's tassel wagged happily as she locked her visors with the male's, not finding him that scary as most would if they had came upon him in this dimly lit area, but then again, Cleo never did see what other's saw, she liked to piece apart the creature and find the good about them, so she complimented the wolf instead with, "You're eyes, they are quite beautiful, Sir." Her nose twitched slightly, memorizing the scent of this new stranger, placing him in the hypothetical scrapbook in her mind, along with a snapshot of his face to remember him by. It was how she was taught to live, by her mother, always saying that it was better to be safe than sorry, and that a face once knew was a disguise never lost.
Then, her brain began calculating different aspects, such as the fact that this male was rather tall, at least having a good ten inches over her, which made her feel a bit more unequipped if a fight broke out, such as if the canine wasn't socially adept and chose to maul anyone in his proximity. But deep down, he didn't seem like the type to her, for those were the more sulky-looking brutes, and this specimen appeared as if he had a long string of patience for those who he encountered that were annoying, like herself. However, she was not sure, for sometimes her predictions were horribly wrong, and the subjects turned out to be complete opposites of what she had thought. Shaking her head, she rid her state of those inquiries and continued her trail, noticing the trio of fluffy appendages, and antlers, such as the ones found on ungulates. It was quite interesting, for she had never seen such a combination of mutations, but it fit his muscled body, and didn't look odd at all, as most would think.
"Are you a wanderer, like Jarrett and I? Or are you merely taking a rest from the life of a pack, if you do not mind me asking, Sir?" the she-wolf questioned, one vined paw lifting up briefly, only to be set back down, ears perking forward in anticipation, but that was when she felt something wet, and cold touch her back, to which she turned to look over her shoulder, seeing her companion's facial features, jaws holding a salmon-like fish, and she nudged his cheek before taking the carcass and placing it at the stranger's feet with a jubilant beam. Her best friend remained behind her, his eyes peeking over her shoulder curiously, as would a pup, and Cleopatra sighed at his behavior, redirecting her diligence on their guest of sorts, hoping he would accept their gift, for if not, he would have a demon on his hands, in the form of a female canine ushering him until he did so. It was in her nature to do so, and while many found it frustrating, she didn't pay mind, for what some hated about her, others loved. Everyone had flaws, it was just that Cleo's seemed to have jacked up on steroids.
