Aigean suffers from APD, which causes her to be abnormally shy and anti-social. She will try her best to avoid any situation which involves having to speak to others, as she has an intense fear of being ridiculed, rejected and/or disliked. Aigean usually is disliked, but it is typically because her shyness comes off as hostility and rudeness.
She often speaks aloud to 'Aoife' (pronounced Ae-fa), her second identity; often voicing aloud her thoughts and concerns. These can range from anything such as simple thoughts to brutally honest opinions. Being with others does not affect this; she may still stop a conversation or sentence mid-way to speak with Aoife..
In the event that Aigean feels threatened or frustrated, she experiences brief, but violent episodes of rage. During her episodes, she completely loses touch with reality and harms whatever lay in her path (which may include herself or someone she cares about). She usually loses consciousness after an episode is over and seldom has any recollection of the events that just occurred. Should someone ask her about it, she gets very upset and anxious.
In addition to that, she often experiences vivid visual and audible hallucinations.
