A screech, awakening in a sickly synchronization, the tapering sound breaking through a trembling ear, causing the appendage to pivot, and the owner to shift. A lucid dream, and the male was forced from a once frantic nightmare to the quiet reality around him. Mother nature was a gorgeous lady, her skill spreading a beauty so subtle most of her creatures could not notice such detail. But he was not like most; the etching and designs of the land he had near memorized, and albeit his nasty dream he was glad he had awoken to such a day.
Beauty spread and danced and shivered in a waltz with the forest, awakening the life that made it's home in the wood; the sun gleaming and sending warmth to a once chilled body. Vatican shifted, although his body screamed in protest; still tense from the night. His eyes darted, moving through each small corner before he spread his mouth to emit a lazy yawn.
It was silence that drove him to stand, to move. Things were quiet, dangerous even. Quiet meant something wasn't right- but he couldn't pinpoint any distractions in the life of the forest. Vatican shivered for a moment, allowing the wind to tickle and caress him, before he set off. A gentle stride made his appendages move in a light rhythm.
I don't want to be the bad guy, I've been blaming myself and I think you know why.
I'm killing time, and time's killing you
Every way that I do.

Not too long ago she had been flying. Well, maybe that wasn't quite right. Gliding was more like it. Or being haphazardly pulled along by a huge amount of wind may be even more accurate. Of course before peace, things had to be unsettled, and some time ago the wind had been going furiously. Ignacia had been pulled along like a blade of grass in a tornado. Not fun. But she had landed quite nicely in a new place. An island. The small of another wolf, or maybe several wolves had come to greet her. Oh, goody, maybe I can meet someone new! The thought entered her mind in an instant. Her bright eyes danced over the landscape, running over trees and open grass alike. The sound of rushing water wasn't terribly far off either. Oh, well this would be nice. Maybe she should join whoever ran this place. It had to be a packland; it smelled like one. Of course the old scents seemed to outnumber fresh ones, but all the more reason for them to let her join, right? This was good, she did so like to meet new wolves!
The Fae took off at a bouncy trot, eyes glittering with the light of curiosity. She wondered what type of prey animals walked here. And what were the inhabitants of this land like? Were they different like her, or more plain? She didn't really care either way, because what mattered was how the acted. Her mother was always stressing that point to Ignacia and her siblings. She noticed it had been quite for a while. Very quiet. Turning, her gave fell apon a small flock of birds. Ohh, so tempting. They were all brightly colored, sort of like herself. And plump. And she was hungry. A frown creased her brow and she sat down, mulling over something her mother had said. What was it about eating prey in a pack's land? Oh, yes. DON'T! That was it! A smile lit up her whole face and she turned, continuing along as if that hadn't happened.
She could eat later, right? If she joined, they wouldn't have a problem with it? Ignacia dearly hoped so, because she didn't know these parts very well. If she wasn't allowed, it may be hard to find where she should go. But, there were plenty of loner too. Maybe if she had to go she could meet some, and they could hunt! That idea set her in a very pleasant mood indeed. Suddenly her ears flicked to the sides. Someone was coming. Someone a slight bit bigger than herself. Without another thought Ignacia turned with a grin and scaled the tree closest to her, using her wings for balance and her claws to grip, she made it a good ways up before she stopped. Ah, how funny it was to be a wolf in a tree. She pulled herself up onto a branch and looked down at the male who was coming.
She knew it was a male from her he smelled, a heavy musk that attacked her nose. Also, the body type just seemed to fit. She let herself lay down on the branch, gaze following th other's progress. If he had caught her scent, he showed no signs of it. But maybe it was because her's was different from normal wolves she always thought herself to smell somewhat different. Not a lot, mind you, but enough. Maybe she was wrong, but she didn't care either. She could just fly away. Leave it all behind. Apparently not very successfully in the wind, but well enough. A yawn opened her maw before she could stop it, and the soft sound she made with it. He would probably hear her. But, Ignacia wasn't really trying to be stealthy. Warm breath escaped her lungs in a sigh before she opened her bright wings, ones that matched her coat so well, and drifted down to land almost next to the male.
She tilted her head to the side, looking at him now that they were so close together. His pelt was a deep ebony hue, like a cloak made out of the night itself. She liked it. Classic amber eyes were set in his skull. She liked that color. Of course, anything bright and it had her attention. Her very short attention span. Ignacia sat herself down and smiled with a most chipper look at this wolf. He held himself like an alpha, she didn't know how she knew, but he did. But she didn't fear him. Rather, gave a respectful dip of her head in greeting before she spoke, "Hello. I'm Ignacia. Who are you?" Her lyrics were calm, yet they hinted at her easily excited demeanor. The words were like flames dancing, soft, but not at all unsure. Her choice was to be direct. And introductions came first, right?

The female herself was bedazzled in her paint, bright colors danced in his aperture. The boy had seen such fantastically painted wolves in the past- but not quite like this one.
His eyes roved her markings, creating no disguise in his mounting curiosity, and feeling utterly plain beside her. She let her voice escape, and it fell into his ears; allowing Vatican to snap from his curious daze. She was trespassing, and albeit anger edged at the back of his neck, he brushed it away with gentleness. Everyone was treated as friend, until given a reason not to.
The girl made no hesitance to introduce herself, and he smiled at her eager introductions. Vatican wasn't use to acting in such haste, and took a moment to bow his head to his counter; curtly. Ignacia he muttered, mostly to himself. Tasting the stranger's name. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance. The boy paused for a moment, letting the silence settle what small tension he felt with the female.
I am Vatican, the owner of these woods. He voiced it as a light statement, letting the words settle in.And what- do tell, brings you here, frolicking through this wood? Or shall I say-flying? The wings she owned could easily notify him that she had somehow flown, and ended up here; the thought was hilarious, although he highly doubted it was false.

You talk
Had she a brow to raise, the female probably would have done so now. As this stranger studied her, he seemed to be coming out of his own world. Well, she did that a lot more than most, so it was understandable. But was that annoyance that played across his visage? Or maybe anger? She really would have to stop acting without thinking. It seemed to make others unhappy. She didn't know why, but she recognized the fact. Scarlet ears swiveled towards the other wolf as she heard him speak, "It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance." As he spoke, she studied his expression. The male seemed to be the good natured type. At least, he hadn't openly angered at her appearance. That was something to be said for him. Some didn't take kindly to others wandering into pack lands uninvited. She would know.
"I am Vatican, the owner of these woods." He spoke lightly, not the way she heard most alphas talk. Them and their prideful ways. The lot of them tended to think they were so much better than the loners who wandered. A foolish mistake indeed, considering that it only took underestimating one creature for the downfall of an alpha to happen. But, she was not that kind of girl. And She did think that this may be a place she would like to stay. After all, why not make the best of being blown into a strange place? So long as he was nice, there wasn't a reason to leave.
Her own smile, the one that usually played over her maw, widened at his next words, "And what- do tell, brings you here, frolicking through this wood? Or shall I say-flying?" Of course her wings were hard to miss, much like the rest of her wildly painted body. Not that she was ever hindered by this. She was a lot more tricky than others gave her credit for. Probably her personality made them overlook her potential, but it was there none the less. Igna shook these thoughts from her mind and focused on answering the question. " Funny you should ask. Earlier there seemed to have been a, well, a whole lot of wind. I'm not exactly cut out for flying in That kind of weather. And I ended up here."
Despite the fact that when that happened, she had found it less than enjoyable, it still made her want to laugh. But of course she was one of the few who could find endless humor in her own failure. Being carried off by the wind was just one of many events that had brought her into odd situations. Like now. Being talked to by the alpha of a pack. One who didn't seem exactly hospitable, but maybe wasn't exactly gleeful over the idea of some wildly colored Fae waltzing onto his land. She might feel the some way in his position. But, there was always the chance she would simply make light of it instead. Tilting her head, Ignacia added, "But I was also thinking of joining a pack in the near future." Her bluntness was amusing. Probably more to herself than him. Humor was everywhere and she figured it was best to enjoy those sort of things while she could. Life wasn't very interesting without a little fun.

Vatican's eyes never wandered from Ignacia, as he felt a certain rudeness when ones eyes wandered to random areas. Then she spoke, and he listened intently. " Funny you should ask. Earlier there seemed to have been a, well, a whole lot of wind. I'm not exactly cut out for flying in That kind of weather. And I ended up here." A grin casually widened upon his mug, and he stifled the urge to laugh. Well, miss Ignacia, you are quite the interesting character. He commented, although curious how she would react to his musings, he meant no harm in his comment, and hoped she would take it as a compliment.
It was something about her charisma and simple formalities that confused the male though, simply because he was not accustomed to the dealings of a leader yet, perhaps. But Albeit his vulnerabilities he felt less tension between her, and himself. Although he couldn't tell what her next move might be, it fascinated him in the slightest. "But I was also thinking of joining a pack in the near future." He hadn't even hinted at the idea of Ignacia joining his ranks, but when she spoke, he looked at her quizzically. Full of surprises, he thought before speaking in a gentle, relaxed tone. Of course you may stay here, if your interested in making Sinis your home. He paused before he continued, turning slightly more grave. But of course, I must warn you- we are very small, at the moment. We recently got rid of many members after our old ruler, my father- passed away. It was a rather rough past, and we're still patching things up. He wasn't one to lie or skimp over details, and although it would be very exciting to add to the Sinis lands, he didn't want her jumping into something she couldn't handle.
I don't want to be the bad guy, I've been blaming myself and I think you know why.

(forgoing that table til someone fixes the messed up coding >.<) Her brightly painted eyes danced with amusment as she listened to his response, "Well, miss Ignacia, you are quite the interesting character." She considered responding, but decided against it. As much as she did so love to talk it up with whoever would listen, she didn't want to blabber on and on. Besides, so long as he didn't aggravate her - a very hard thing to do - she need not respond to that. The way she figured, being interesting was far better than being average. She didn't want to be boring. So it was decided that his words only made her like him more. Even if he wasn't a crazily colored creature like herself, he seemed to have the promise of being his own kind of different. Only one more reason to stick around. She liked anyone who could be their own self. Besides, if she listened to every annoyed wolf who told her to shut up, she wouldn't be quite as cheerful. And that wouldn't be fun. It would be sad. So she just didn't let anyone change her. No point in it. His reaction to her very forward statement actually did make her laugh. It was just so funny when she caught others a tad off gaurd. But it was easiest to speak her mind. Words spoken from the heart held no lies. "Of course you may stay here, if your interested in making Sinis your home." Her own perpetual smile widened a bit and the tip of her tail twitched a bit as she decided whether or not she was going to wag it in her happiness, " But of course, I must warn you- we are very small, at the moment. We recently got rid of many members after our old ruler, my father- passed away. It was a rather rough past, and we're still patching things up." Her head tilted a bit as she conisdered this. Of course, she hadn't come from a very big pack in the first place. Numbers were not really her concern. And on the bright side; should she hunt, there would be fewer mouths to feed. Always a bit of a plus. She did worse under pressure. So really his lack of members didn't concern her. If her eyes were any brighter they might be seen from the sky, and it took a lot of control not to burst out and do something that might annoy this wolf. She didn't need Vatican getting tired of her antics when she had hardly been here very long. And besides, there was no way she was going to try flying back to whatever shore she came from, seeing as she had no idea where that was. Maybe another day soon, but not quite yet. And also, she liked being around anyone who acted kindly. They were so much more fun than the grumpy alphas she had seen before. Of course, she wasn't acting with the best manners. But if anything that was her parents fault. She was raised in a pack, yes, but it was totally different on many levels compared to most others. Everyone in the pack got respect, and their leaders were treated as someone to care about and respect, but not much more than anyone else. Not to mention the fact that being what they were, it was hard to be unhappy. Just a very different situation. Now she often felt a bit... socially awkward. Not that it could possibly stop the ardent Ignacia. She did manage to contain her whirring thoughts enough to give Vatican a respectful dip of her head before saying in her oh so chipper voice, "I'd like to stay here very much. I find you a whole lot more likable than anyone else I've met so far... Always so grumpy, they were. And I don't think a lacking in the numbers will bother me much at all. Never has before."OOC: Too lazy to write more... hehe Ignacia is so happy... ALLWAYS!
