So I'm sure you guys have noticed the "Random events" name popping up in the User Information Center every now, and then. This is part of a new site event that the Staff have agreed to do. The RANDOM EVENTS account will be used to cause anything from natural disasters to prey explosions (bountiful prey). This can happen in any board, not just the pack bopards, and we even have an NPC that may come around to stir up trouble, or bring good things.
as the name suggests, this is toally Random, and not selected to happen at any time intervals, there can be an event one day after the other, or there can be events as far apart as a few months. Events last for a limited time, and those who get involved can have ANYTHING(litterally) happen to them.
Random events that will directly effect the characters involved will say "Special Event ! !", instead of "Random Event ! !" in the thread title. It is your choice to join; join a "Sepcial Event ! !" will be like giving the staff consent to manipulate your character (remember these can be anything good OR bad; nothing is promised). Special events have time limits to join, and even if no one has joined the event will be revealed.
All other events will be labeled "Random Events ! !" and will effect the imediate area(s). These events require at least one participant to work, it is a regular post that gives a situation for the participants to interact.
