The lone wolf had never felt quite right about herself. She had been born to parents with no odd coloration; her mother was grey, her father tan. Her sister and brother resembled this, as they were both a mix of her parent's fur. So, how did she end up looking the way she did? She had white fur with areas of lavender and pink. This had caused quite the stir where she originated from, so as soon as she could, she left. She came to this new land alone, and so far no companions had joined her sides. She had seen a few other wolves, although she never approached them. From the shadows, she had seen others with odd coloration, so she felt at ease.
Now, padding along, she felt she would be able to handle another wolf initiating a conversation with her. She had scented plenty of others had passed through the area, so she followed in the general direction. In doing so, she eventually ended up in an area of rocks and water. She strode to the edge of the clear river and lapped some up, reveling in the cool refreshing feeling that flowed through her body. Her red eyes glanced up and down, but as far as she could see, there was no one else around. Glad no one would see her, she quickly dunked her head in the water, then shook the droplets away. Feeling much better, the tri-colored she-wolf readied herself for the possible arrival of another wolf as she jumped onto one of the many rocks that surrounded her.

The brute strolled around the riverside, his paws slashing softly as he sauntered. His yellow eyes scanned the water at his side for any fish, but there hadn't seemed to be any yet. He was a bit unaware of his surroundings and quickly snapped up his head when he heard a suddenly splash. A keen smile slipped its way across his muzzle as he spotted another wolf. He tried smelling the air to determine the canine's sex, but nothing but the scent of water filled his nostrils. Damned water.
The red pointed wolf would have to get closer, which he gladly did. "Hello,
[/b]" He cooed as he got closer and recongised her as a female. " Nice scenery, eh? But a bit lack of any type of game,[/b]" He remarked as he lifted and splashed a red paw into the water. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Not expecting another wolf to appear so soon, she was a little startled when a stranger spoke. The way he spoke his greeting let her know that he was not intending to harm her. At his mention of the scenery she took a glance at him then back around. She hadn't really cared to take it in until it was brought up. As for there not being much game, she couldn't argue with that. She hadn't seen the signature silver flashes of fish in the water nor seen signs of any prey on the land. Looking back at him, she turned her head just in time to see him splash a red paw into the water. "Hello, stranger. And yes, it is nice scenery." She gave the wolf a small smirk before jumping down back into the water.
"My name is Schein and I'm new to the area. And you are...?" She left the question hanging, implying that she was, in fact, asking this wolf his name. She had her head tilted slightly showing her curiosity. She had not seen this wolf before and his scent was unfamiliar, making her wonder if he was also new here, or if they had simply never crossed paths.
