;; base color: rox's coat is a pure, virgin white. one of the reasons tier "overlooked" his gender was due to his appearance. while his mother's coat was also white, his had yet to be dirtied or dulled by the hardship's of life and his youth saved him, unlike many of his more unfortunate siblings.
;; eye color: both of rox's irises are an eerie, acid green with small flecks of silver around the pupil. the sclera in his left eye is black, though his right eye's is still the regular white.
;; markings: like his mother, rox's tail is striped black and neon green. the first band starts at the base of his tail, switching from the blinding white of his coat to pitch black. the following rings alternate green, black, green, and end with a black-tipped tail for a total of five stripes. below both of his eyes, rox also has very faint "freckles" that match the same green found in his eyes and on his tail and tongue.
;; mutations: rox's tongue is long like a snake's, but is not forked. like his tail, his tongue is striped black and green, ending it a black tip. in addition to being shaped and colored oddly, rox's tongue, when fully extended, reaches nearly a foot infront of his nose. while rox does not posses wings, he does carry his father's genes for wing mutations.
;; defects: despite how he was conceived, or who his father was (one would think he'd have long since lost his sanity), rox has no illnesses or diseases that negatively affect his health. he does, however, have a very slight lisp due to his abnormally long, serpantine tongue, though it is only noticable when he is angered and speaks with more definition.

With a family like Rox's, a wolf either walks away broken or bruised, but stronger. Rox is a firm believer in "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger" and happens to be a prime example of the saying. Though he is not physically stronger than the average male wolf, his character itself has been fortified by his past. Rox has a strong set of morals and upholds his virtues as best he can. Having seen the consequences and the effects of rape first-hand, he is strongly against it and anything else that would violate another's body or soul. He is well-mannered to all, and especially formal to males. Due to his father, he has an unconcious, natural submission to any male older or larger than himself, having been conditioned to tuck tail and behave or be killed off like his lesser siblings. Around females, however, his attitude changes sharply into that of the pup his was never allowed to be. With an immeasurable energy, Rox can be a pawful and never gets his fill of smiles and laughter.
While he comes off as innocent, Rox does have some rotting around the edges of his heart, a slow disease that was, luckily, killed off before it could change him fully when his sister killed their father. Had he been raised longer under his father's influence, perphaps he would have been far different. Instead, Rox suffers from a slight sadist streak. Though he would never kill or injure, unless necessary, he gets a perverse sense of belonging around such scenes. He's drawn to the sight, sound, and smell of blood and violence because he finds comfort in something so familiar. After he was freed of his father, his entire life changed and while he would never look a gifthorse in the mouth, the change was a bit to sudden for the young wolf he had been. The only "sin" he truly hates, the only act that he utterly and entirely condemns, is rape. When one, and one's siblings, are all the products of rape... it becomes personal.
In terms of his sexuality, Rox is a confusing case. Being raised as a female by his in-denial father, Rox has learned overtime to appreciate males as much as his genetics say he should appreciates females. Similar to his regular reacctions, intimacy with males and females can be polar opposite. Again, towards males he is far more reclusive and timid, but has difficulty refusing anything that can be even vaugly taken as an order. With females, Rox's almost puppy-like personality shines through in his willingness to please and his more gentle and loving manner. After having to help raise so many siblings (his father could never be counted on to care for the not-quite-perfect ones) Rox is a doting individual who finds great happiness in caring for others and specifically pups. Because of his brothers' (the sons Tier didn't choose to raise as daughters) deaths, he is extremely protective of males younger or smaller than himself and will loose his usual calm to protect them from a preceived threat.
Whether a docile lamb, excitable puppy, or fierceguardian, Rox has many layers to his personality, many of which one cannot begin to touch on. He is complex in the simplicity of his initial appearance like the surface of a lake whose bottom has never been reached or even neared.

No wolf's begining is exactly the same, no matter how average it may be.There are always differences that set everyone apart whether it is as simple as having one siblings or none, having your father still around, how well you got along with your parents, or having a serial rapist for a father or not.
Tier had an insatiable appetite for females and a need for a family. When he continued to be shot down throughout his life by females, he decided he wouldn't take no for an answer anymore. The brute raped and ravaged his way through females in a search for the perfect mate and took the children with him when their mothers weren't good enough for him in the end. Though no one knows just how many he raped, he is known to have had nine daughters for sure, while there could be more of his legacy roaming about the lands. Amoung his plentiful daughters, no one has ever heard of him having a son and the general consensus became that he killed them at birth or simply raised them as daughters, content to live in denial.
Rox is the later of the explainations. Rox was the third (that he knew of) "daughter" of Tier. He was raised as Roxanne and decided early on that he would conform to his father's wishes instead of arguing that he was, indeed, male. It goes without saying that Rox was raised with various problems that stemmed from such an upraising. He learned early on that his father had no problems killing off those that did not please him and behave like good, little girls. Along with his younger sister, Advent, he was the child Tier had sought for. Rox was quiet and spoke only when spoken to, he came when called, he praised his father when expected, and he killed the "bad" children when ordered. However, he could never be as great as his sister. Advent was above perfection. She made the word obsolete. It simply wasnt enough to describe her. Soon Rox was no longer his "Sweet Roxy" or even "Roxanne." He was "That Other One." Tier began to focus on Advent, training her to be the more-than-perfect lady, the more-than-perfect black widow, the more-than-perfect daughter of Tier. When she learned all she could have from their father, she killed him.
Rox had been caught between horror and a feeling he'd never once uderstood. Freedom. Everything felt light and the world was gone and it was him and his sister, her glorious black wings like some great harbringer of death, an angel of destruction. It was the siblings and a puddle of blood, bones, and ashfleshfurdidn'tmatteranymore. He was free, Rox was free. Free to be exactly that, a he, himself, Rox, not "Roxanne" or "Sweet Roxy" or "That Other One." Advent could have cared less, content that she had passed her father's greatest test. She had surpassed Tier and Rox was just something won on the side. In an unusual show of mercy, she turned her back on Rox and left on her way to continue their parent's work. She would strengthen the family, make it bigger, make it more-than-perfect. Rox was good enough to leave alive, he was perfect. But perfect, and not more-than, was not good enough for her to take him along.
He took his freedom and his sister's mercy full-heartedly. Rox left as soon as Advent's shadow and the rustle of her wings faded into the night. He left, ignorant of the blood that had stained the pads of his paws as he passed his father's cooling corpse. What did a dead wolf mean to a freed son of Tier?
Nothing.
