A wolf prowled along the edges of an icy pool. The sheet of ice was marred only by three rocked placed sporadically around the water that broke the surface and stood like sentinels to the mystic pond. The wolf who lurked was equally mystical with her large set of antlers, abnormal blue markings, and brilliant green eyes. Pale moonlight filtered down, lighting up the sleek surface of the water and glinting off those strange antlers.
The night drained the she-wolf of color, painting her silver instead. Her eyes were filled to the brim with unmistakeable curiosity. The Pool of Waking Dreams held a place in her history. Being born near here, she was raised on stories of a pond that was almost always frozen solid. It was told to be a place of magic and for a wolf of two years, the stories of her childhood were still very much alive.
Something pricked her heart, loneliness and the wolf whimpered. She made to the water's edge, tipping her antlers down to skim the surface then drew her head up and let out a long sorrowful cry. Her vocalizations filled the night. Maybe someone would come join here here at this most sacred of locations.
ooc: yep this post sucks but I just need to work into her character

Asha went on the search for water after her kill. The rabbit had been surprisingly large and tender for once, but the she wolf still felt like she could use a drink. As she looked around, she recognized her surroundings slightly. She had been to the Pool of Waking Dreams before, and knew there was a spring around here somewhere. Instead, her paws seemed to have other ideas and led her to the pool itself. As she saw the slight glow of the moon reflected on the ice and shrugged. Hey, it was water, wasn't it?
It wasn't until she was almost there that she heard the other wolf's cry. Immediately stiffening and tensing her wing muscles in case of a need for an emergency take off, she continued forward slowly. She had been here a lot, and knew that this was no pack's territory, yet it was still a good idea to be prepared. Even a lone wolf could be trouble if they tried. Yet, after a moment of listening she unstiffened slightly. This wolf sounded sad, not angry in the slightest.
When she got to the water's edge she saw the other wolf at last. She was defiantly different, with tall antlers and blue markings that Asha could barley see, since the moonlight had turned the other she wolf's pelt silver, much like her own. The other hadn't seemed to notice her yet, so Asha cleared her throat loudly and fixed the other with her dark Sapphire gaze. "So you're the one sounding so sad. You scared me a bit, I can tell you that much. My name's Asha, what's yours?" Asha knew she was being quite friendly, but this wolf looked like she needed a friend.

Their meeting in the Valley had gone well and it seemed that the good thing about Tsuz was that he forced them to be better acquainted than they would have been otherwise. Nothing binds two souls together faster than an common enemy. Though, that Alpha wasn't an enemy in the normal sense, but simply in the sense that he stood separate from them: Two peaceful wolves greeting each other as strangers do, but both afraid of what would come next. They travelled together. He on the ground as she flew overhead, but couldn't tell if it was she who followed him or he who followed her. It was an easy friendship because their personalities matched up and they were both wolves that were lonely and hungry for companionship.
He contemplated telling her about his condition, but knew that it was a bad idea all around to stick with her. He was crazy, insane. Though he was sure that none of the other wolves would hurt her. Pulpit was a puppy. Church was a scaredy cat. Preacher was a Casanova. And Advent, well, she was a female, so maybe she would get along with Asha. "Asha…" he mumbled quietly to himself as a small bit of practice before the real deal. "Sometimes… I don't act like myself."
But how would she respond to that? Would she reject him? He knew that it was hard to deal with five different personalities. Each of them seemed like their own wolves. His long tail wagged a bit in apprehension. He kept his mouth shut. He could leave it all to Advent, but he knew that she had a habit of making light of their problems. It was a handicap. He never knew when he last ate when he came out after being tucked away. He never knew how he got somewhere, so was chronically lost.
But then, a wolf's cry could be heard. The male pricked and looked up first at his companion. He stiffened and pricked his ears forward but chose to follow the light gray shape overhead. The night had desaturated Asha's coat. As she descended, he lost track of her. But he recognized the land. He had gone here too many times, wanting to make wishes, but only found a frigid pond every single time.
His heart lifted a bit. Perhaps he could check again this time. Finally he caught up to the female wolf. He was a bit out of wind., but swallowed his saliva to wet his throat and that helped him catch his breath better. The crying wolf had antlers. Already, Asha was comforting her. She took the role that he had when he met her. Now she was the comforting stranger. The dark-colored male kept a few feet from the females. His prehensile tail flicked in a feline manner.
"Asha? Who've you found there?" he asked, politely and with his sharply enunciated words. Sorry for the late-ish reply. My internet is being mean.

The moon washed female stood alone, or so she thought. A throat was cleared and Dashikara's head snapped up and to attention. She stood, forepaws together, green eyes leering into the darkness. She looked very much like a deer at that moment. "So you're the one sounding so sad. You scared me a bit, I can tell you that much. My name's Asha, what's yours?" Dashi ducked her head down a bit, nose moving before her and antlers tipping back some. She inhaled deeply, gathering the other wolf's scent.
She was a wolf of few words and she moved with a grace that made her almost seem ghostly. Blue streaked down her forelimbs, leading to equally blue paws. The same blue framed her eyes, with five blue dots below each eye. A line ran from her nose up to her forehead where it split in two and traveled to her ears, lining the outer portions of them. She had two other markings, above her eyes. In the light of the moon her markings were hard to pull from her white coat.
Dashikara took a few quick steps forward, slinking toward the other wolf. The she-wolf stopped abruptly and slunk back as a male came into view, calling to his companion. "Asha? Who've you found there?" Green eyes stared at the male, head tipping lightly to one side. For the most part Dashikara was a creature of flight, choosing to run rather than to face another. Here she could not run though, not when she had called out, not when she had been spotted.
A wolf with few words and even fewer friends did not do well in social situations. She turned to the water, still uneasy about the male wolf but certain that the other female's presence would hold him in line. The mysterious she-wolf was cautious of males, it was something hardwired to her nature from a distressing childhood. She glanced back toward the pair, then to the water. Lifting her head again she let out a short and sullen wound, somewhere between a bark and howl.

Asha turned to her friend and companion, slightly surprised that he had already caught up to her. She had actually been slightly surprised when Sermon had agreed to go with her in the Valley, but she was thrilled that he had. She felt a strong connection to the brown male, and had a feeling he was special in more than one way. She also felt like he was hiding something from her, but she had long decided that she didn't care and wasn't going to push and make him possibly leave.
"Honestly, I don't exactly know who I've got here, she hasn't said anything." Asha looked at the she wolf and saw the look that she was giving both of them, more Sermon than Asha. The other was clearly uncomfortable, Asha knew that look. 'Maybe she can't talk-" Asha's thoughts were cut off by the other she wolf making an odd noise somewhere between a bark and a howl. Asha tilted her head to the side, making her left ear flop over.
The silver and black she wolf had no idea what to say or do. Even though every nerve in her body was telling her to approach the other, she knew that was a bad idea. What if the other turned hostile? "A-are you OK?" It was the only semi-logical question Asha could think of, but she knew that she needed help here. She looked at Sermon, looking for help, or at least another voice.

[style=font: 11px calibri; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: right; width: 412px; background-color: #282823; padding: 2px 10px; color: #8f9cab;]the sermon ended with the preacher cursing Sermon looked at the white wolf. Her colors were more clearly seen now that she was in the open. She hadn't spoken yet and had a doe-eyed expression. It matched her antlers well. Her eyes flashed green as the light hit them, the same as his did. His friend, who looked like patches of silver woven in the night's shadows, attempted simple chit-chat, but couldn't coax a single word from the stranger. She turned to Sermon to tell him that she hadn't said anything yet. In a simple way, she had relayed the brief moments before his arrival. It was a good bit of information.
Sermon didn't know how to deal with the female. Having Asha there made him a touch confused about how to handle the situation. It was an unknown variable. His black and silver companion had a mind of her own. In a gentle stammer, she had tried again. The long tailed wolf looked toward the antlered female and back to his friend. "Well, Asha, I might could git this here…" He stopped talking and repeated what he said silently, retracing the shape of the words on his lips and the feel of them on his tongue and finishing the sentence in his mind, '…filly an' learn her that there ain't nothing wrong with a two of us'. He realized that Preacher was coming through, attempting to take control, by the drawl affecting his voice. He couldn't let Preacher take over. No, not now. He hadn't even introduced the idea that something could be off about him yet. He forced the wolf in the back of his skull, but could feel the protest--the drumming in his skull.
"Uh, give me, a moment please," Sermon said as clearly and politely as he could, but he sounded like he was trying to suppress an accent and his rushed tone killed his courtesy. He jumped into the woods that guarded the frozen pond. I was stupid. I was stupid and dumb and should have realized that this wouldn't end well. That it couldn't end well.
And there it was, the switch in the mind. The answer to his questions. Y'know, you have got to be fool to think you get to take home alla glory, Serm. Sermon because a small section in the mind, nothing more than a whimper in the dark. All that was left was Preacher.
His movements had changed. Even his face had changed. It was more relaxed and his expression was slightly cocky. He had an easy, lopsided smile on his face. His long tail lashed from side to side and he looked back on the appendage. Nothing in his tail. That meant nobody was around. Or, it meant that one of the others didn't want him to know that someone was around. He knew it was Sermon. "Oh, Serm, son, you are just one big ol' damn idjit. Tryin' to swaller me or somethin'. Y'know, I'm just too big to pin." Preacher sometimes spoke to himself. It made him feel more whole rather than this messed up shattered wolf. His smile widened and he breathed the air, letting it out of his nostrils. Females.
Preacher smiled. Do y'all know me already? He emerged at the corner of the woods, in the place he entered the trees. The branches broke up the moonlight so that they dappled his back. He kept hidden, trying to figure out if they had met one of his others. He's sometimes forget the last time he had eaten as well. He saw the two females. Lordy Sermon, what you up to when I ain't around?
I had to. And Preacher is so fun. I hope it doesn't scare Dashikara too much T_T Or Asha. Or maybe that will make it more fun, LOL.

"Honestly, I don't exactly know who I've got here, she hasn't said anything." The pair of wolves spoke like she was not there. Dashikara let out a huff of air and turned back toward them. The males seemed just as confused as the female. Both wolves were odd like her. The girl had wings and the stocky male had an otter-like tail. The bi-colored fem listened as she was asked if she okay.
Suddenly she felt quite mad, like she had lost her head. Why would they think that of her? She was fine. She wasn't crazy or deranged and broken. Dashikara was wild and beautiful, she was everything a wolf was supposed to be. Lifting her head regally the wolf stomped one foot. Just then the male started talking bass ackwards and ran off.
Now who was deranged here? The male gone, Dashikara watched the spot where he had vanished very closely. "Dashikara Starseek." She said, her voice smooth as silk. Her gaze turned to the female, meeting her gaze. "That is my calling." The she-wolf moved forward then, eyes still flickering to where the male had disappeared. She moved close to the female, pushing her nose out to where it almost touched the winged female's. Dashikara had no clue, it seemed, that this was likely very awkward for the other girl.
The strange white and blue wolf inhaled the female's scent. She lowered her head and moved cautiously around the wolf. She let out a little bark and swayed her antlers from side to side, almost playfully.

"Uh, Sermon, wait-" Asha tried to stop Sermon as he ran off into the trees, speaking weird all of a sudden. She was trying not to panic. Was the other leaving her? No, he wasn't the type to do that to her. But where was he going then? Asha didn't have much time to dwell on Sermon's disappearing act thought, because then the other wolf finally spoke.
'Dashikara Starseek? well then, there's a new one for the books' Asha thought as the other she wolf finally introduced herself. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Dashikara." Asha said as the other approached. When she suddenly found Dashikara's nose right in front of hers she almost panicked, but stayed calm as the she wolf circled around her, probably gathering her scent. Then the other let out a playful bark and wiggled her Head from side to side, looking like she wanted to play, but Asha couldn't be sure.
Instead, she looked back to the woods where Sermon had disappeared. Then she looked back at Dashikara, who looked like she was waiting for Asha to come and play. 'Sermon, if you don't came back soon, gods help me I'll come after you with such a vengeance' Then she chased after the white and blue wolf, letting out a playful bark and trying to smile.

[style=font: 11px calibri; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: right; width: 412px; background-color: #282823; padding: 2px 10px; color: #8f9cab;]a preacher is usually an easy man to trust When Sermon had jumped into the woods and Preacher pushed him out, took over, he had missed Dashikara's introduction. It would've been some good information, but he poked his nose through the low foliage of the bushes and leaned close to a tree when the antlered female had just started swaying and circling the other. It was hard to decide whether they knew him or not. There was a small hesitance in the black and gray female's movement before she accepted the invitation to play. Her eyes flickered to the woods. Preacher narrowed his eyes to better see it, squinting the small gesture into sharp focus. He needed a plan. Preacher was an honorable wolf. If these were indeed friends of Sermon, he didn't want to mess things up between them. Well, he could just pretend to be Sermon. That might be fun. And he might get them closer to him.
But, then again, it was needlessly going to complicate things. He, Preacher, a personality residing in a body that Sermon shared, pretending to be him. If anything, he was the worst wolf to impersonate. They hadn't rightly met. In fact, it was impossible for them to since when one was awake, the other was dormant, hidden in the back of the mind, existing as a final subconscious thought--sometimes nothing more than a gut feeling. All he knew of Sermon was a few secrets. Lies. And stories told by wolves he knew.
Or he could pretend to be a brother. He was told that they looked different. That each personality had a different quality to their appearance. He was suave, put-together, nonchalant, easy-going, slightly and deliciously dangerous. He emerged, wearing an easy smile and an honest expression. He had a plan now. He was going to ask if they knew Sermon and present himself as the wolf's identical twin. It seemed… like it could be interesting. All in all, it could be a touch of fun.
"Have y'all laid eyes on a wolf named Sermon?"
If they were twins, it would explain why they looked alike. Shared the same mutation and the same pelt. His long tail lashed in a different way than Sermon's did. His eyes seemed friendly and his lopsided smile made him look charismatic, as if he knew the way that wolves spoke. Their differences were small, uncanny things that added up and made him look similar, but not quite.
Preacher grinned, "He's mah identical twin. Been avoidin' me. We got in some tiff. You know how them sibling things go. I just want to set things right, y'know?" He said, letting the vagueness make it seem personal. Something he wouldn't share with strangers. And the honest truth was that it wasn't something he would share.
"Name's Preacher." He introduced himself with a small, gentlemanly nod. He looked at the two females. If they knew Sermon, then that wolf seemed to be getting lucky lately. Both females looked rather lovely.
I LOVE Preacher. He is a muse factory!
