How could anyone enjoy himself at this place. Why was he here anyways, maybe it was because he had no where else to go and Sakura said it would be a good experience for him to explore the lands a little bit more. He took a deep breath and began to make his way threw the thick mud. His ears were fully back against his head as he treked threw the mire. This place is gross veggie, can we go some where else please? Blaire cried inside of vegas' head. He smirked and just kinda shook his head and pulled himself up onto a tree root. "I wish we could Blaire but we have no place else to go, plus you never know what we will find" he spoke as he sat down on the root and looked around. His bright green eyes scanned over every peice of nature that was around him. He took in a deep breath and then began to leap from root to root, he was tired of the mud.
awww lil baby afraid of the mud? Afraid of getting sucked into the abyss? an evil voice rang threw his head. vegas groaned and then spoke softly "No i am not afraid of the mud sakura, i just choose not to move in the mud, this way is faster then trying to pull myself threw that thick goo, and if you dont like it get over it, i am in control right now." he replied back. He snorted and then leaped to a root and looked around and then a scent hit his nose. He looked around and titled his head to the side and then picked up his pace. veggie what is it? is someone in trouble? Blaire asked as he couldnt really tell what was going on. Vegas shurgged his shoulders, "I honestly dont know, just something smells different" he stopped suddenly and looked around, he sighed and then flicked his ears around his head. he was lost in the the swamp and it wasnt a good thing.
He sat down and curled his tail around his paws and looked down at his leg that was starting to bleed because of him moving so much. He knelt down and began to clean the blood from his legs. He soon looked up and sighed some as the evil voice began to ring stong in his head awww poor lil baby, you over did yourself, look your bleeding |

Vegas snarled and shook his head and sighed some. he was tired of Sakura and his comments, then again he was all he had other then Blaire, Celia had left him and he had no idea where she went to so he was left with his blood brothers. ------------------------------------------- Key: Blue-sakura Gold-blaire Green-Vegas Status; Complete Muse; eh ok Words; 474 Tagged; No one Notes; hehehe [/blockquote][/scrolly][/blockquote]

Not only was it mostly deserted but under the cover of darkness and shadows that beckoned with gnarled hands to follow torrid paths it also was enough to send terror into the heart of even the bravest warrior, or at least she would have hoped. The night was cold, dank and all too familiar, but nonetheless she had left the fair grounds of Il Dimenticato, swept up in the magnetism of moonlight and night. For hours she carelessly paced back and forth from one abandoned corner to the next, each step more agonizing than the last as the sores of her own paws split open once more and began to fester in the stagnant air. It was chilly but not entirely frigid yet she still found herself shiver from time to time as a current of air glided – light, untamed & pure – along her figure, caressing like the persistent muzzle of a lover to taste her every curve. Her paws soon grew sore; each step was like walking on shattered glass and sent slivers of searing, white pain up her legs, and muscles stiff, rigid and tired yet she still pressed onward into the night. Perhaps she had been searching for something, anything, but she was tired, she was always tired, and could scarcely gather her thoughts into making even slightly coherent reality. She kept moving, needed to, before she focused too much on not only her fright but why she could not recall over half of her life.
• • By morning she had somehow managed to stumble upon some dilapidated swamp. Azkadellia had never possessed much curiosity but for reasons unbeknownst to her she found herself easing into the dank recesses where swamp muck clung to her pelt and burned in her wounds. The air smelled of stagnant water and the earthy sweetness of decaying vegetation, burning in her nostrils and curling her nose into a foul grimace. Maybe this was not one of my better ideas, she thought to herself but was unable, unwilling perhaps, to turn back now when she had already gotten her paws wet, as the saying goes. She had grown more aware of her senses over the past few days after being crudely interrupted by two of her kinds and males at that. Her anxiety level was on high alert and she wished to not have another frightening incident if it could at all be prevented. Ears, fuzzy and ever moving, swiveled to catch every faint sound as creatures began to stir in the light of early morning yet, for the most part, the world around her was still hushed. Something told her to keep moving, however, so she gave in, tired of fighting the convergence of emotions in her clenched gut, through the dark, through the muck, through this deplorable place.
• • It was not the male's persistent chatter amongst himself that caught her at first rather the stench of uncertainty that pierced even the nauseating putrefaction around them. Lithe muscle and months of training as a weanling now paid off as she crept forward, following the scent that beckoned her follow although her mind scream to turn tail and flee. She found him cleaning fresh blood from his paws while looking completely, utterly, entangled in his thoughts. Every now and then his body would jerk almost as if he were talking to another even though he was along, but Azkadellia tossed all judgments to the wind. "You know, if you wish to keep all your body parts it's best not to let yourself act so weak, especially in the open like this. Who knows what sort of creatures lurk these swamplands." It took all her courage and energy to keep her light, musical brogue from quivering as her heart pulsated in her chest. Never before had she come across a lone male and most certainly not by herself yet she couldn't just leave him there, could she? Leaving the brush that had given her camouflage, Azkadellia pressed forward from the darkness and into a sliver of warm, brilliant light, ruff rippling as she languished in the brilliant heat that now flowed along her unique pelt. "I'm sorry for being blunt and for interrupting. My name's Azkadellia and I, like you, am very much a loner. You probably think me foolish for stumbling upon you like this and I'm certain most would agree with you." She paused for a moment after her flurry of words, sides heaving, before going on. "I-I could go if that's what you wish," the lera stammered softly, flicking her golden stare to her own paws and flexing them as much as her soreness would allow. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - * - - - almost threw this life you gave me away } IN THIS INSTITUTION, FOR YOU NOW I PRAY ▐ WORDS. 8 0 8 ▐ TAGGED.
