[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=000000] » And I know » That life is nothing easy (nothing easy) » One day, imma change the world » And they'll finally believe me
• • • THE sun set high and mighty in the skies, disdainful to the land below, depriving the district of a fresh supply of water. A wolf sat off in the distance with eyes glaring across the sweltering hot meadow, in search of a place untouched by the harmful sun rays. Mauve shaded eyes defiantly stared at two horses drinking from a stream about 100 yards away from the gray wolf. Toapa had never seen a horse before, or at least she could not recall spotting one of these long legged creatures before. Puzzled, Toapa studied the older of the two horses as it kept watch when the younger took a drink from the stream. The painted stallion could probably sense he was being watched, as his eyes scanned the grassy plain. It was curious how these two worked together, never taking their eyes off of hidden danger. "You can never be to cautious", Toapa thought to herself . Ignoring the beasts after a few moments the wolf lost immediate attention as soon as her mind began to drift and retreat within her personal thoughts.
• • • HER paws initiated to voyage on their own as Toapa switched the ‘auto pilot’ key in her brain. Leisurely her paws drove her across the meadow, aimlessly weaving around the tall grasses, leaving her in a lost daze. It had been, what, 4 months since she’d last seen another living wolf? Strategically she had avoided all living creatures, unless of course they were her next unsuspecting meal. Living a life of solitude, as quiet as it may seem, has its interesting moments. When an animal is left to their own thoughts and imagination, things quickly become dangerous. Toapa, left to her own thoughts, is possibly one of the most treacherous situations imaginable. Toapa is a curious creature by nature, always wondering about things and trying to find a solution to every problem. As she kept to the darkness and shadows, she prepared herself for any and every situation. She developed escape plans from her brothers grasping jaws, and studied other creatures to learn their weaknesses. Perhaps her biggest fault is jumping to conclusions and always finding a flaw in someone. Toapa was born and raised on hate, and subsequently, her lessons learned have faded into her teachings.
• • • EARS suddenly twitched as Toapa heard something behind her. Another wolf’s scent, presumably fresh, suddenly suggested to Toapa that she was no longer alone in these parts. Toapa was convinced someone was stalking her from a distance; and she ignored any irrational suggestion that she were overreacting to a snapped twig. Ears pinned back to her head, Toapa warned the unknown one, “I suggest you stop following me, Stranger.” Tucking her tail, Toapa immediately acquired a defensive stance, warning anyone in the vicinity that she was prepared for any challengers. She couldn't help but wonder in the back of her mind if her brother had finally found her, after years of hunting. Was this to be her immediate end? Shifting her position, Toapa turned around to face any possible opponent that dared show themselves.
» There's an army commin for me » I won't back down » Cause I never was a kid in the background » Just a class clown but who's laughing now

Frost sniffed the air and smelled another wolf. Curiosity on who it was drove her to finding the direction. She paused to think. Then, she decided to stalk him or her. Her stalking had been a bit rusty. She might only do it for a short moment, though. No need to be found. She sniffed one last time and crouched low. The ground shifted under her, making it so her pawsteps were silent. This had happened whenever stalking prey lately, but she never gave it much thought. Unfortunately, that didn't work with plants. They could rustle. Then, she felt the pawsteps stop. That had happened lately too. Very faintly, and only with larger creatures. "I suggest you stop following me, stranger." She stopped dead in her tracks and hissed silently under her breath. Caught! She sat down. What else to do? She wasn't planning on any approaching, or leaving. Just wait until the other wolf moves.
