Black fur and white undermarkings were just barely visible in the soft glow of the moon. Nemesis, hitdog for Hellfire, leader of the il dimenticato pack that Nemesis had joined. There were only three of them for the moment. The female wolf trotted forth, a rabbit in her jaws, her own dinner. She trotted towards the fairground, entering through the gates and heading towards the spot she'd claimed as her den, an old game stand or something, where she had a nest of soft stuff, mostly moss & feathers, under the counter. She paused, sniffing the air, and catchign hte scent of her packmates, they were recent, means they were nearby. She shrugged and continued into her den, placing her dinner on the ground and eating quietly. As soon as she finished she went in search of water, and found it pooled in another old game, some childs thing with plastic ducks inside a tub, and drank, washing her face and paws of blood at the same time, she twitched her ears(ear and a half some would say at the sight of the torn ear on the left side) at the sound of pawsteps behind her.

Hellfire had been perched atop of the roller coaster tracks, thinking to himself. His wings were extended, catching the small bursts of wind. His gold optics were closed, but he was very aware of who was coming, and going in his lands. Upon catching a familiar scent his nose twitched, and those brilliant gold optics snapped open to gaze down at the terra below him. He couldn't make out detail, but he could make out black fur, and white under markings dashing across the terra toward an old game stand. A small smirk grew on his chops as he realized who it was. The spunky she-wolf he had ran into a few days ago. Stretching his wings out as far as they would go, the he-wolf caught air, and soared for a few moments before losing altitude. He wasn't actually aiming to fly anywhere, he just wanted to get on the ground.
He landed silently on the terra, his columns taking the majority of the impact. The shock traveled through his legs, and into his spinal cord, but it wasn't too bad. Breathing in deeply, he started toward the femme that was now taking a drink. His lyrics traveled up his vocal cords, and tumbled from his tongue easily. "I trust that you've made yourself at home?"
|
His lyrics were always dark with a menacing underlying tone to it. It was just how he was. After all, he was a demon walking among wolves. "Speech!" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Nemesis stayed in her position, tail stopping stock still as the pawsteps stopped. "I trust that you've made yourself at home?" She smirked, her tail beginning to move again, ever so slightly, ears flicking at the familiar voice. It was just Hellfire, her new leader, the wolf who had, in one single day, debated her over hte difference between cowardice and knowing ones limits and lost, saved her from loosing her tail to a horse, offered her a permanent job and a place in his pack, and then challenged her to show off her skills. She turned, facing the dark wolf, eyeing the wings, then meeting his golden amber eyes with her own red ones. "Of course, you said be here in a few days. I got here earlier while you were out." She stated coolly. "Decided to find a place no one else stayed in, set up the den, then went hunting. I already proved myself to you." She shook off, water flying from her muzzle, and streched. "So, how're you this fine evening, fearless leader." The nickname was sarcastic, teasing, and almost a challenge. Just almost though.

"Of course, you said be here in a few days. I got here earlier while you were out." As she spoke he merely nodded. She was not at fault, and he wasn't going to waste his breath commenting on something that didn't need to be commented on. He rolled back on his haunches, resting his legs for a few moments as she continued to speak. "Decided to find a place no one else stayed in, set up the den, then went hunting. I already proved myself to you." Hellfire chuckled now, and shook his crown. "I never asked you for any more proof. I was merely making sure one of my new dear members managed to make herself feel at home."

He wore a crooked smirk upon his lips, before tilting his head to the side. "So, how're you this fine evening, fearless leader."At the nickname, an eyebrow quirked up, and a slight humorous chuckle slipped from his maw. "Well, your fearless leader is doing quite well, thank you for asking. So, what about you, miss murder? Found anything out to sink your deadly fangs into? Other than that poor, innocent rabbit you had for dinner." His tone was pure taunting, and perhaps just a little sarcastic at the same time. "Speech!" "I never asked you for any more proof. I was merely making sure one of my new dear members managed to make herself feel at home." She snorted, disbelievign of his motives being so innocent. "Oh I know I don't need to prove myself anymore. Never planned to." She stated cooly, sitting opposite him and bending her head to lick some rabbit blood from her right forepaw. She glanced up at the slight humorus chuckle, spotting the smirk.
"Well, your fearless leader is doing quite well, thank you for asking. So, what about you, miss murder? Found anything out to sink your deadly fangs into? Other than that poor, innocent rabbit you had for dinner." She cackled softly. "Miss murder, what a lovely name. And unfortunatly not yet, as I haven't been informed of any enemies to be on the look out for an opportunity to kill." She teased, smirking lightly at him, red eyes practically twinkling with mirth. "And besides, there are so few wolves in this pack I find it doubtful we have enemies yet. By the way, who's the lovely little dame you seem to have convinced to follow you?" She inquired.

He wasn't exactly sure why Nem thought she could continue to talk to him like that, but he intended on addressing the rules the first pack meeting he called together. Disrespect wasn't something he was gonna tolerate when there was more members. However, he was content to let it slide for now. "You really don't have to argue with everything I say, you know. And as for the few pack members that is not of your concern. Your job is to kill when there is something to be done. You don't need to worry about the pack talley."
|
The brute stated, his chasms twinkling with blood lust. Not for her blood, no. He wanted the untainted blood of innocence. He wanted the blood of a pure heart, but he was unwilling to use the only source within his reach. Marigo. As Nem brought her up he tilted his head to the side. "Her name is Marigo. He answered softly, as he squinted softly as if trying to understand why she thought she had a right to spy on him. Last time he checked he hadn't asked for a babysitter. Nemesis yawned, watching as her manner of speaking obviously hit a raw nerve for her new pack leader.
"You really don't have to argue with everything I say, you know. And as for the few pack members that is not of your concern. Your job is to kill when there is something to be done. You don't need to worry about the pack talley." She frowned, ears twitching again. "I am not arguing wiht everything you say, I am merely stating my opinon, is that against pack law?" She narrowed her eyes. "And I ought to have a right to know who I am to be shared a territory with." She saw him obviously getting a bit frustrated at her mention of the little dame.
"Her name is Marigo." She nodded. "And before you get you tail in a knot, no, I was not spyign on you, caught her scent." She muttered. She stood, shaking off her irritation, she had a reputation to uphold. She met his gaze. "I apologize for my insolence, but it is always a good idea to get as much info on your employer as you can before you start killing for them." She stated. "Simple thing you learn in my buisness. Besides, it's not like I'm gonna go hunt down Marigo for the hell of it." She stood still, red eyes focussed on his, if this stand off was going to become a regular thing one of these days she was going to bite his tail off or something, because if he was this paranoid about disobedience they were goign to clash. She then forced herself to relax, tail starting to wag slightly. "Good choice in territories by the way, easy to defend, plenty of shelters, and a lot of palces to hide." She changed hte subject, looking around herself at the fairground's moonlight illuminated scenery.

"I am not arguing wiht everything you say, I am merely stating my opinon, is that against pack law?" He hated to admit it, but she was right. She did have a right to state her opinion, but he wasn't in the mood to listen to opinions right now. His head was all in a frazzle ever since Azzy's return, and her lost of memory. It was discomforting to him because he was accustomed to loss, but he had never had to deal with it in this manner. His past mates had died, and he never had to deal with their lost of memory for him. Hellfire tore his gaze away from Nem as she began to speak once more. "And I ought to have a right to know who I am to be shared a territory with." He merely nodded as if he was thinking about something else but he wasn't willing to admit she was some what right. So, he remained quiet on the subject. He wasn't going to apologize because that wasn't something he did. It was just something they were all going to have to deal with at one point in time.
"Good choice in territories by the way, easy to defend, plenty of shelters, and a lot of palces to hide." At the change of subject he turned to eye her once more. He took a deep breath before shooting her a joker-ish grin. "Yep. Easy to defend, easy to hide from bigger, scarier wolves. Not that any of you guys would actually hide from a battle."
|
He arched an eyebrow, watching her for a few moments. Yeah, he was messing with her, but it was just his nature. Don't like it? Too fucking bad. "Speech!" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Yep. Easy to defend, easy to hide from bigger, scarier wolves. Not that any of you guys would actually hide from a battle." She chuckled softly. "Of course not, we're fighters, to the end." She stated, a small smirk on her muzzle. Fighting was her life, she couldn't imagine what her life would be like if she didn't have that. Oh, right, she'd most likely be dead. She streched, tail arcing up over her back as she flexed her stiff muscles. She raised herself back up, shook her head, and smirked at him again, waiting for his next move.

"Of course not, we're fighters, to the end." Hellfire smirked softly. She didn't know how much of a fighter Hellfire was. She knew only what he's told her, and he hadn't told her much. However, if she planned on sticking around for a while she would surely find out soon. Hellfire danced forward, coming just a few feet from touching her. "You have no clue."
|
A slight smirk curled the corner of his maw up into a demonic looking grin, but that was usual for Hellfire. He made it look good. The he-wolf danced a little bit closer to her, his fur just barely brushing against her own as he lowered his head to the water to take a drink himself. He was playing a game now, a game that he loved to play. Call him crazy, but that's how he was. His tongue lapped at the cool liquid for a few moments before he turned to glance at her. "Or could it be that you do have a clue?" He was playing mind games now. Yaaay. "Speech!" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

He moved forword, getting closer to her, she stood her ground, not backing up, yet still wary of this movement. "You have no clue." He stated. He then moved foreowrd again, fur brushing hers just barely and took a drink from the tub she'd been drinking from just moments before. She held still, watching him over her shoulder, one ear cocked foreward, the other twitching sideways. He then turned to glance at her, a smirk on his muzzle. "Or could it be that you do have a clue?" She knew he was playing a mind game, and decided to play right back. She flicked her tail at his nose teasingly. "I have at least an inkling." She spoke softly, moving to turn, her fur brushing against his side as she put her paws on hte side of the tub, bending foreword to lap water up herself before trotting away, tail swaying as she moved.
