I'm not leaving the site or going inactive, but I won't be able to post as quickly as I usually do. I got injured on my right hand, mostly the index finger, so I'm kinda lucky. I heal quickly, so I'll probably be okay ^_^ With no scars <333

Sorry I was gone yesterday. My finger needed aired out since it got gooey under the band-aid and stuff. It's still kinda swollen, but at least I can use it now, LOL

I got bit by my dog. It's not his fault; it's mine.
I sorta panicked because he got a hold of something sharp from the trash (my sis was cleaning her room and didn't take her trash out) and instead of asking him to give it to me, I just grabbed for it. Hence, me getting bit. I should have been more careful BC of my dog's anxiety and health problems, but I panicked instead of kept my head about me.
It disturbs me how in another house, this could have gotten a dog put to sleep or rehomed--when it's down to human error.
Right now, he's calm and sweet, wondering why I won't play tug with him no more, LOL. We still train together and I'm working more on calmness in uncomfortable situations.

Oh yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Most people don't understand that their actions are really the cause of their pets misbehavior. At least you have the patience and understanding of your pet. Most people don't even take the time to teach them to sit and then they wonder why their pet wont walk comfortably on a leash.
Sorry you got hurt!

Thanks for worrying about me! It's still not 100% healed because some of the injury is on the knuckle, but I'm pretty much all better now. It only hurts if I try to pry stuff upon with this finger, LOL.
But yeah, my doggy is definitely well-trained! Even well-trained doggies are not immune to their owner's mistakes!
